The cottage in Malibu reminded us of our first house in Echo Park

There’s nothing like the beach. It’s so freeing. The smell of sunshine and suntan lotion, seeing whales and dolphins and seals playing in the Pacific. Laying in the sand and long beach walks. Last weekend in Malibu was heaven. No cell phone reception at our cottage. Lots of late night talks and BBQ and dreaming for our anniversary. It had been forever since we hung out at the beach all day. So many memories there. Of course I had to write about them, right? TRANSFER STUDENT (Starjump #1) is set in Los Angeles, click here to check out a sample. I’m looking forward to writing book 2 in the series soon.

You know you’re in LA when: you dash into the grocery store and there’s a sign that reads “WARNING TO PAPARAZZI”; You’re driving down PCH and pass a car with the license plate MR. WRONG; on your Sunday Drive down Mulholland you pass a gorgeous vintage Rolls-Royce.

Right now I’m designing the cover for MOON KILLERS (Shadow Series #3). Its cover reveal is on 2/23 on Indie Author Month! WHAT? You haven’t heard what’s going on there? Click here to check out all the cool excerpts and exclusive stuff & enter my giveaway here! Squeee 🙂 13 on Halloween (Shadow Series #1) is currently FREE and #71 in Teen Romance on Amazon. Click here to get your copy and jump into the Shadow Series.

What’s inspired you this week? I’d love to know!
