Sunsets, coincidences, turkey feathers – Laura’s Word Sauce Interview & Review

Cheerio! Today, I received my first five-star review on Amazon UK for Winnemucca. I’m very excited about it. It’s cool to see your book for sale in British Pounds [£2.14]. I never checked out the UK site before. Sophie has just posted an interview with me on her Word Sauce blog where I was asked to write my life story in 25 words! Eeeek. It was a blast. I had so much fun answering her questions. Swing by and let me know what you think, if you have a sec. On this Thankful Thursday I have so much gratitude for everyone who’s helped to spread the word about Ginny and her story.

Here’s Sophie’s review:

This is the story of Ginny, a young girl from small-town America who feels her ‘road blood ripen’ and is called to follow where her feet are already itching to take her.

But it’s about so much more than that too. Laura Elliott takes us on a journey – at turns terrifying, funny and moving – and shows us how Ginny learns to follow her instincts, trust her feelings and unravel the secrets of her past.

I loved this beautifully-written book and have already recommended it to one of my step-daughters.

Essential reading for the teenage girl in your life.
