Monday muse: the road less traveled

I took this photo on a hike on Sunday. It made me think of so many things. We got in over our heads in a couple spots. At one time I thought we may be lost. Yeah. Srsly lost. In. The. Middle. Of. Nowhere. But what do they say? All that wander are not lost? We came upon an outcropping among the rocks of a ridge where Tibetan Flags, all torn and weathered, had been hung. It was breath-taking to sit there and appreciate this place, even though we hadn’t set out to see it, even though it wasn’t our destination for the day, it somehow ended up being exactly where I needed to be.

When was the last time you wandered? When was the last time you got lost? When was the last time you took the road less-traveled?
