Create your transformational story

It’s not just in some of us, it’s in all of us. Learn how to tell your personal story in a succinct and powerful way that reflects your transformational journey. Four, 45-minute sessions will help you create a story you can take wherever it’s needed––your next family BBQ, an Oscar nomination, your LinkedIn page, a first date, or in, say, a fabulous luxury art book featuring your incredible Julie Ulstrup portrait. The project is called the 50 over 50 Project, and we are so excited to feature your story in the book!

MY STORY

Hi, I’m Laura Elliott. As a teenager, my love for story began in the Amazon where I water skied with piranha while learning of head hunters and curses. I’m passionate about helping people harness the power of their voice to create a story that can transform the world and the world of those we love.

When I started thinking strategically about my personal story, little did I know I’d end up realizing my dream––globetrotting to ghostwrite bestselling novels and screenplays, while interviewing the world’s top celebrities, style makers, fashionistas, and entrepreneurial icons.

Drawing from my experience writing those stories and training staff in storytelling for outlets like E! Entertainment Television, The Los Angeles Times, and World Travel Magazine, I will walk you step-by-step through the process of creating and refining your personal story.

WARNING: When you sign up, you might just change your life and realize a specific personal dream! This class will enable you to understand the power of storytelling to create your own inspiring personal story, whether you’re starting from scratch or in need of a story makeover. 

 What You Will Create

Your story. Your way. Don’t like writing? No problem…you can create a Haiku, poem, crossword puzzle, or anything else that says YOU. Most people will leave with a story of around 800 words.

The Package

I am hosting 4, 45-minute sessions at 4 pm MST on 4 Thursdays––January 14, 21, 28, and February 4, 2021. I will instruct live on these sessions with Q&As. What if something comes up and you can’t make a live session? No problem! Replays will be available the next day for you to access whenever you like. The cost is $300, discounted 50% from the value of $600.
